Artist Statement
Inspiration, transformed into creation. My art is a pathway into the wondrous world of my brain. It is a reflection of what inspires and intrigues me. My fixations jump from ancient history, mythology, music, the people I love, and the natural world I experience every day. I’ve always had the drive to bring the internal visual pandemonium in my mind to life, in my youth it was through drawing on walls, scribbling on the ground with chalk, or doodling in the corners of schoolwork assignments. Pouring out my ideas in the form of creation is a power I hold proudly. I believe the world would be a bleak place without art; no machine could ever replicate the human emotion behind any piece of media.
